If there was one thing he thought he wouldn't be, it was alive. Well, not really alive, but moving, at least. Moving and breathing and eating and feeling and all those other lovely things that he was now able to do. How he was able to do them was another matter all together, one that he was not quite sure of the answer.
Of where he was, he was not quite certain either. He had awoken in this strange hut with a strange woman in the middle of a creepy jungle. The only familiar thing he could find was his monkey, Jack, who had awoken him in the first place.
Now, as he sat at a wooden table in the middle of a cluttered hut, eating an apple as he sat across from said strange woman, he was contemplating to himself whether or not it was a good idea to ask questions. But then...what exactly did he have to loose?
"So...tell me." he directed his words at the strange woman sitting across from him. "Who are ye and what is it ye want with me?" |
